Business Development Representative - BDR US (f/m/d)

Your mission

Your role is a key position as you are getting the word out about GotPhoto: You are the first point of contact and face of GotPhoto to all of our photographers - our customers. You accompany them on their way to success and play an active part in shaping and improving our product and services.

We consider this role to be a future development role where you start as a Sales Development Representative and work closely with Chris who will develop you and your skills over the next 12-18 months.

Please note that this is a US remote role - you must be located and resident in any of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, or Virginia.

OTE: 75k gross per year with uncapped commission model (The final range for your base salary will depend on your level of experience which we will discuss together). 

Your role

You will be part of the Business Development team with Christoph Ebhart, VP Sales, (check out his Linkedin) as your team lead. For this role, we are looking for someone who is passionate and willing to go the extra mile in understanding our customers’ needs. As someone who is proactive, consultative, and personable, you aim to achieve goals by working closely with your team.

As our Business Development Representative you will:

  • Explore new ways to reach out to photographers and are the first customer contact representing GotPhoto through email, calls, and trade shows

  • Contact the leads that we generate through our marketing activities via cold calling and video emailing and spark their interest to learn more about GotPhoto

  • Drive our sales pipeline and growth by setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives and working closely with the team in general to optimize our client approach

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to collect customer feedback and exchange regularly with our customers to identify improvement opportunities for our brand image

  • Constantly stay up to date with industry trends and share relevant product feedback, customer needs, and insights with the GotPhoto product team and management

Skills we are looking for
  • You have 6 months experience in selling a software product as an SDR, BDR or in another sales role and are creative with testing different sales techniques

  • You have a hands-on mentality, are organized and have strong communication and negotiation skills, and feel very comfortable with proactively reaching out to people

  • You know or want to learn how to achieve sales performance metrics by tracking your results independently, analyzing them, and deriving actions to improve your KPIs overall

  • You enjoy learning things and applying them fast with strong problem-solving skills and are motivated to develop into an Account Executive within 12-18 months 

  • Experience in HubSpot (or another CRM) and Vidyard is a big plus!
